Man found dead after fire in East Broughton

Firefighters on Sunday found the body of a man inside the remains of a home in East Broughton that had caught fire.

Firefighters were called to the duplex on 10th Ave. S. around 7:30 a.m. Sunday. After bringing the fire under control, firefighters entered the building and found a man’s body, said Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Hugues Beaulieu.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the major crimes division is investigating, Beaulieu said.

East Broughton is about 65 kilometres south of Quebec City.

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all.
