In our Tape we talked about him growing up in LA, receiving his first Kodak Instamatic from his parents. His father, also a photographer, at one point owned a camera store on Wilshire boulevard. We talked about Ken going to local clubs and shooting bands, studying photography in college, and later moving to New York, almost on a whim.
