I am sending a reminder for our current CFA Artist of the Month contest which will remain open for 2 more weeks. All details are below.


Submit your artwork and compete CFA Artist of the Month title and €2,000 in three cash awards.

We invite visual artists working in all categories (except video/film art) to submit artwork in the CFA Artist of the Month Contest. The submitted artworks will be judged according to aesthetic, technical and creative aspects. Only images submitted in this contest will be considered for the selection of the winning artists.

1st Place Award includes

Participation Guidelines

Participation Cost: 20 Euro for 1 image ● 50 Euro for 5 images ● 90 Euro for 10 images

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
