The Camera Collector
The Camera Collector
It all began in a flea market in Vietnam. With the purchase of a Polaroid 80 Highlander, Samer Halwany started his camera collection journey – a journey that has led him to Cairo, Paris, Beirut, London and Istanbul (to name just a few) and resulted in a trove of over 700 vintage cameras. An expensive and time-consuming endeavor, vintage camera collecting may not be for everyone, but Samer's enthusiasm and commitment are enough to get anyone interested. Take a look at some of his most prized possessions and top treasure hunting tips.
