About the Show

Spectrum Brooklyn Art Fair is the newest contemporary art and design fair in Brooklyn, New York. It is organized by the Redwood Art Group which is a company that holds some of the most notable fairs in the USA, with nearly 100,000 attendees annually. Located at Brooklyn's Expo Center, one of New York's premier event locations, Spectrum Brooklyn is perfectly located and close to Brooklyn's array of restaurants, hotels, and museums. Convenient parking and easy transportation make Spectrum Brooklyn a perfect destination for exploring the latest in art & design. The fair welcomes its esteemed exhibitors and attendees to a beautiful gallery-style venue.​

About our Contest

Through this contest, we will offer one artist free participation with 1, 2, 3 or 4 artworks at the Spectrum Brooklyn art fair, within the World Wide Art booth.

The 1st Place Award also includes Representation of your works at the art fair, Insurance when the works are at the venue, for the duration of the show, Packing and Unpacking of Art, Hanging and Installation, Quality Exhibition Lighting, Wall Tags (Title, Size, Medium, Price), Display table for Business cards, books and flyers, Unlimited Guest passes, Free storage of your artworks at our California office before and after the show (if needed), Listing in the show catalog and in the promotional email campaign for the show. The winning artist will exhibit within the World Wide Art booth at the show. The shipping of the works to and from the show is the artist's responsibility.

60 Contest Finalists will receive a unique and signed Finalist Certificate, as well as a discount if they wish to exhibit with us at the show.

Contest Participation Fee: 20 Euro per image entry

The contest deadline is July 16, 2021.

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
