To celebrate the launch of Longchamp's new eco-friendly Pliage bag and its partnership with Ocean Generation, we're staging a virtual event on sustainable, long-lasting fashion - here's how you can be a part of it…

If you're anything like us, trying to maintain your wardrobe's eco-credentials is becoming more and more of a priority. Happily, one of the biggest names in fashion is on the same page, with Longchamp teaming up with NGO Ocean Generation to launch its newest bag, the eco-friendly Le Pliage Green. To celebrate the arrival of this must-buy piece of sustainable chic, we're partnering with Longchamp for a very special event, in which you'll learn how to make your style a little kinder to the planet.

Streaming live at 7pm on Thursday 29 July, the event will be hosted by Stylist's own Susan Riley, who will be talking to three key members of our fashion team about how to buy "forever accessories" – the kind of pieces that will continue to be a key part of your outfit season after season, helping you to keep your fashion footprint to a minimum. You'll discover the enduring trends that will always have a place in your wardrobe and learn how you can interpret classic shapes and styles to work for you.

You'll also hear from Jo Ruxton, founder of Ocean Generation, and Hector Cassegrain, MD of Longchamp UK and Ireland, who will be talking about the launch of a new Le Pliage with newly sustainable credentials, while one lucky attendee will win the bag for themselves.
