The cheat's guide to looking younger Why look your age when, with a few simple DIY tricks and hero skin treats, you can look 10 years younger – and not a needle in sight! Slow down ageing by finding the root cause "If your skin is thinner, prone to breakouts, sensitive or dry around the eyes and you're approaching or going through menopause, you're probably experiencing hormonal ageing," says internationally acclaimed dermatologist Dr Howard Murad, founder of Murad skincare. "Look for ingredients in products like phytoestrogens, alphahydrixy acids and shea butter to hydrate and stimulate cell renewal."

Be seated on a hardback chair with your spine straight, your head tilted slightly back on the neck and the eyes closed. If there is any tension in the upper part of your body, you can remove this by gently moving the neck and shoulders to and fro, and allowing them to settle into a more relaxed position. 2. Start to breathe as deeply as you can without any strain, being sure to keep the in-breath and the out-breath as equal as possible. If necessary, you can use a mental count to achieve this by ensuring that it is the same number for the in- and out-breaths. Yoga philosophy teaches that the deeper you breathe, the deeper you think, and that a balanced rhythm of in- and out-breaths helps to achieve self-control and inner harmony."
