Your COVID-19 update for October 8, 2021

A new study from the CDC found that over 140,000 U.S. children lost at least one caregiver to COVID-19 during the pandemic. The findings, which were published in the journal Pediatrics, revealed that more children were orphaned during the pandemic than previously thought. Black and Hispanic children were the most affected.
