Game-worn sports memorabilia surging on collectibles market 

Game-worn jerseys from Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio paced Heritage Auctions' Fall Sports Catalog Auction, with the 1954 Mantle jersey selling for $615K and DiMaggio's 1946 top going for $216K in the $26M event. Other memorabilia like Kobe Bryant's rookie sneakers and items from the Al Kaline and Lou Brock Collections also drew big dollars — another sign that the game-worn memorabilia business is booming.

Kobe/LeBron Gold Refractor card sets record in PWCC Premier Auction

The 2008 Topps Chrome card is a classic, showing NBA legend LeBron James guarding Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant. When a collector found the card stashed in an old shoebox, he knew he might have a gem. After being graded a PSA 10, it was consigned to PWCC Marketplace, where it sold for a record price.
