📚 5 books that inspired Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella this year

Presented by

Microsoft CEO and executive chairman Satya Nadella’s voracious reading habit has been well-documented. In 2017, he shared seven books that made him a better leader with Fast Company. Today, he recommends five more in an exclusive essay. It’s an eclectic list, some of it predictable (The Alignment Problem: Machine Learning and Human Values by Brian Christian), and some of it (a biography of Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard) less so. Nadella, whose own first bookHit Refresh, is a memoir and manifesto, says that his picks have influenced the way he thinks about leadership, technology, and the future this year. Read more here about the five books that inspired him in 2021.
