A mashup of “mad” and “balding,” “Malding” is a slang term used to describe gamers who get angry while playing multiplayer games that was first popularized by fans of Twitch streamer Forsen. In his chats where fans would spam “So bad, so mad!” and then “So bald, so mad!,” it was eventually whittled down to simply “So bald, so mald” as “malding” swept over the platform in 2019.
