Art IDEAL: A personal invitation to publish your art in our magazine

We are sending a quick email today to invite you to publish your artwork in Issue 2 of Art Ideal Magazine.

About Art IDEAL - Print & Online Magazine

The magazine will examine the work of about 100 visual artists from around the world. It is an invitation-only project and it will provide a unique, curated selection of notable artwork in a variety of style and media - only work that represents a high creative, aesthetic and/or technical value.

Published artists can choose from two types of presentations. The magazine will be released in February/March 2020 and as usual, it will be available for direct order to your address of choice. Magazine Quality

The magazine has a very original and innovative style with a landscape orientation. High-quality print ● Full-Color ● Original landscape layout (29.7 x 21.0 cm or 11.7 x 8.3 in.) ● Perfect bound ● Glossy cover 250gr ● Laminated sulfate paperboard cover ● Matte pages in 115gr white paper ● 1000 copies available in the first edition ● Ships internationally

Design and Available Presentations

One-page presentation will include: Artist Name, Website, 1 small profile picture, Short Artist Statement, Short Biography text, Select Exhibits and CV listings, 1 or 2 images of artwork according to text size

Two-page presentation will include: Artist Name, Website, 1 small profile picture, Short Artist Statement, Short Biography text, Select Exhibits and CV listings, up to 4 images of artwork.

Publication Cost

One Page Presentation - 243 EUR (tax included)

Two Page Presentation - 464 EUR (tax included)

The fee includes:

Preparation of images for print and web magazine ● translation/editing of texts ● art direction & presentation design ● international promotion & distribution ● full pdf available for embed on your personal website ● discretely watermarked full magazine pdf available for published artists

Submission Guidelines

Accepted Media: Painting, photography, sculpture, Mixed media, 2D media, 3D media, digital art, collage, printmaking, textile art, performance documentation, video art stills, installation documentation, new media.

Image size: The total of your submitted images cannot exceed 25MB. If necessary, will be in touch with you when the magazine is in production to request an image fit for print.

When submitting the form, please be prepared to provide the following elements;

  • A small profile picture
  • A short artist statement
  • Short Biography text
  • List of 5 most recent/most important shows
  • List of 5 most recent/most important titles/awards/distinctions
  • 6 images of artwork and their details (title, media, dimensions)

The deadline to submit your art is January 30.

This magazine will be released in February/March 2022.

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows.
