Wade has been top of mind for many since a Supreme Court draft opinion leaked on Monday. But there's another abortion case that could be affected should justices strike down Roe. In Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey, the Court upheld Roe but allowed states to restrict abortions as long as there was not an "undue burden." ➡️ As the conversation about abortion continues, some lingering claims are circulating about the safety of the procedure, who gets it, and how much support or opposition it has. We fact-check some of the most persistent claims. Students seeking to take out loans next year are in for some bad news: interest rates are likely to go up, and by quite a bit. The change could have an even bigger impact for graduate students and parents, who are allowed to take out larger loans at higher rates. Jill Biden is heading to Romania and Slovakia, and will spend Mother's Day there meeting with Ukrainian moms and kids who fled Ukraine after Russia invaded. The trip is Biden's most high-profile moment yet in her tenure as First Lady. The FDA says Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine should only be used as a last resort for people who cannot get any of the other available vaccines. Researchers found the vaccine led to 60 confirmed cases of a syndrome that can cause rare but potentially life-threatening blood clots. The man who attacked Dave Chapelle at the Hollywood Bowl has been charged with four misdemeanors: battery, possession of a weapon with intent to assault, unauthorized access to the stage area during a performance and commission of an act that delays the event or interferes with the performer.
