Here's what's been happening.

Snow Cone's return

The return of an entangled North Atlantic right whale to Canadian waters has spurred new enthusiasm, concern and urgency about what should be done next.

The North Atlantic right whale, nicknamed Snow Cone, was spotted off the coast of New Brunswick on Saturday. It marks her first sighting in Canadian waters since Aug. 4, 2021.

"It's an exciting thing to know Snow Cone made it back to Canadian waters for the summer feeding time," said Sean Brillant, a senior conservation biologist with the Canadian Wildlife Foundation. "It's discouraging to find out she's still entangled and has rope coming out of her mouth and along her body."

Adam Sandler eats at Milestones

Adam Sandler was spotted enjoying some tasty grub at a Milestones restaurant in Guelph, Ont. this week.

"She [a Milestone's worker] came running to the back, with a red face and shaking, she just kind of looked at me and went 'Don't freak out, Adam Sandler is here, Adam Sandler is here, nobody say anything, just have a normal time with this,'" said Brad Clarke, manager at Milestones Guelph.

The movie star was in the area for a few days filming and producing his newest Netflix project, "You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!"

Beach rescue caught on camera

Three international students are being crediting with rescuing a boy from a submerged car in East Bay, N.S.

The three students, along with another man and a nurse who happened to be at the beach late Sunday afternoon, made a desperate effort to pull a car out of the water after it reportedly slipped out of gear and rolled in.

The group said they had to act quickly to rescue the little boy, who was sleeping inside. Watch the incredible rescue here
