Much has changed over the last six years, with the region attracting international attention as new art fairs bolster an already thriving gallery and museum scene. To coincide with the launch of the project, four in-depth interviews with individuals featured on the list have been published, and are available to read here. The Apollo 40 Under 40 Asia Pacific is the ninth instalment of a project that was launched in 2014 to celebrate the young leaders and future stars of the art world. This year's list follows the publication in September 2021 of the Apollo 40 Under 40 Art & Tech, and previous lists dedicated to Africa (2020), the Middle East (2019), Europe (2018 and 2014), Asia Pacific (2016), and the USA (2015), as well as a Global edition (2017).
