Morning , ahh - the age-old question...

Should you train for strength or train for mass?

It seems obvious, right?

I mean, you should pick a program that is aligned with your goals.

If your goal is to get strong, well - then you should pick the strength routine.

Good talk - I hope you enjoyed this email.

OK - kidding.

I think the answer is a bit more involved than that.

I think a better question is if you're looking to build muscle, which routine should you choose now?

Because, in reality, you should be mixing up your workouts.

You never want to just stick to the same workout with the same exercises and rep scheme forever.

And even if your goal is to get big - or build a respectable amount of muscle - you should always incorporate some strength training.

In fact, there are a lot of top coaches out there that preach strength trumps all (I'm looking at you Pavel and Dan john).

Anyway - if you want to dig deeper into the subject - we published an article on how to choose - here it is.

Have a good one!

- Dave

P.S. - If you want to build muscle fast, hitting more muscle fibers in every workout is key. From what I have seen - the BEST way to do this is to bump up your ATP levels. Here's how.
