Personalized Multitools
Gerber Gear has added its popular Center-Drive multitool to its custom shop offerings. You can make this tool your own with your choice of nine color schemes, various engravings, two tool sets, and a sheath in either leather or nylon. The Center-Drive features a fold-out bit driver arm that provides much more reach than typical plier-based multitools.
GiantMouse is now producing its largest fixed blade to date, the GMF4. This general purpose full-tang field knife is 10.45 inches overall with a 5.65-inch blade of N690 steel. Like many of the company's knives, this one is made in Italy and comes with a top-notch leather sheath. It's available with either red or double black canvas Micarta handle scales.
If you prefer a small fixed blade for everyday carry, yet want a knife that's capable of handling woods duty on hikes and camping trips, we've got you covered. Here bushcraft expert Reuben Bolieu puts three shorty fixed blades to the test, including the Morakniv Eldris LightDuty, Bear Forest Simple 2, and Reiff Knives F3XC.
The South Pole fixed blade from TRC Knives is designed for those who embrace a spirit of adventure. No matter where you might be heading, if you're carrying this knife as a companion, you'll be well equipped to handle any challenge. But read on to hear what regular contributor Jim Cobb thinks about this quality blade.

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote. "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'" Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
