"Art has been a constant staple in my life as I had to move many times following my husband's military career. Even though every country or state created new challenges in styles, it gave me a purpose. Now that I am in my mid 80's, I feel I am blessed with my career in art, such as it is. It gives me a social life belonging to art associations, critique groups and media channels. It's kept me young at heart and soul."

"Art pretty much is my social life. Art is my soul and my only therapy and enjoyment. I also love teaching children art and belong to an art guild, thus the social aspect. It's really nice to connect with people who have that common thread sharing and occasionally painting together."
— Karen Bordok
"We have a farm and help is needed by me at times. It is also a place I spend time with my husband. Many times, the beauty and inspiration there are overwhelming, so I bring a little pouch of minimal paint tubes, a couple of brushes and a canvas. In between the helping, I paint in plein air the beauty that I see. He is great to give me feedback and likes the seeing the work I do there."

(Sales reportedly flattened out at about that level around 2013.) Today, many use it because they believe it will broadly help their heart health , but others hold that fish oil can help with renal health, bone, and joint conditions, cognitive functions and mental wellness, and any number of other conditions. Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote. "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'" Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
