Yes, it's electric vehicle (EV) time — again. In last week's Capital Letter, I discussed how much of the "good" news about EVs was anything but. In an earlier Capital Letter from last June, my focus (a theme I repeated in the later letter and again in the latest magazine issue of National Review) was on the way that the evolution of the "market" for EVs, like so much of the effort to deal with the possible effects of climate change, is being steered by central planners. This has not been a good thing:
