As we find ourselves heading closer to the festive season, we'd like to tell you a little bit more about the Vogue Festive Calendar – the ultimate collectible.

Following on from the theme of last year's calendar, we continue to explore Vogue's beautifully illustrated vintage covers from as early as 1914, carefully selected from the US, British and French archives. Each cover evokes the timeless elegance and artistic spirit of the magazine, making this calendar a true keepsake.

Learn more below.

Christmas Eve By Helen Dryden, December 1914. Vogue's leading lady, clearly of some means, in her strikingly festive outfit with contrasting scarf billowing out as snowflakes begin to fall, returns home for the holidays. She is closely followed not by admiring suitors, but likely coachmen bearing seasonal spoils.

Motoring and Travel By George Lepape, January 1925. One of Lepape's most enduring covers. His fashionable young driver in modernist zigzags, helmet with goggles and gauntlets rests upon her gleaming art deco-patterned roadster set to whisk her off to various points of the compass.

Wartime Modes By Helen Dryden, October 1918. Autumn begins to turn to winter and beside a curtain of contemporary design, Vogue's cover star has brought out her fur-trimmed coat and matching muffler. This was the last issue made during wartime – Vogue, founded in 1916, had never known any days of peacetime.
