| Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100, according to a statement from the Carter Center. He died in his home in Plains, Georgia where he began home hospice care in February 2023. Carter celebrated his 100th birthday on October 1st. Carter lived longer than any other U.S. president. Former first lady Rosalynn Carter died on November 19th, 2023. |
