Step aside straight-leg, mum-cuts and cargos, barrel-leg jeans are the latest denim style we can't get enough of.
Tapered at the ankle and waist with a large curve running down the outer leg, they're shaped – you guessed it – like a barrel. Leaning towards the ever-popular wide-leg style, they pair perfectly with T-shirts, cardigans or, if you prefer a loose-fitting look, with an oversized jumper and shirt. Here are nine of our favourite pairs of barrel-leg jeans, including an excellent leopard print pick.
Our skin goes through a lot. It keeps out everyday pollution, provides protection against UV rays and regenerates at mega-speed. And thanks to our (often) overzealous application of skincare acids, our skin can take a bit of a beating, and the results aren't always pretty.
But what really happens when you damage your skin barrier? And are there ways you can speed up the repair process? Here, we explain all.
We're coming to you with the perfect January pick-me-up: every Wednesday this month, we're partnering with Audible to help you kick-start your 2025 with a weekly audiobook recommendation. The depths of January are quite the struggle for most, but this makes it the perfect time to take it a little easier and focus on you. Whether it's a companion on your morning commute or a cosy alternative to your thumping workout playlist, we're tuning in to Audible to ease us into the new year.
This week's recommendation is Ikigai: The Japanese Secret To A Long And Happy Life, by Héctor García and Francesc Miralles. 'Ikigai' is the Japanese word for 'a reason to live' or 'a reason to jump out of bed in the morning'. If you're feeling sluggish in the depths of January (us too), this audiobook will help you work out what your own 'ikigai' really is, and find joy and meaning in the everyday. Listen now on Audible with a free 30-day trial or, for a limited time only, sign up for three months for just 99p*.
*Pay £0.99 for the first 3 months and £7.99/month thereafter. Renews automatically. Terms apply. See audible.co.uk for terms.

SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote. "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'" Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
