President Biden on Tuesday signed three executive actions to overturn some of President Donald Trump’s most hard-line immigration enforcement policies. One of the actions included the launch of a task force to reunite children and parents who were separated after crossing the border. In his first two weeks in office, Biden has signed nearly as many executive orders as President Franklin Roosevelt signed in his entire first month.  The House Republican Conference will meet on Wednesday to discuss the futures of Wyoming's Liz Cheney and Georgia's Marjorie Taylor Greene —  two congresswomen who are in the spotlight for drastically different reasons.  The ashes of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick are lying in honor in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol. Sicknick, 42, was killed by pro-Trump extremists during the Jan. 6 riot. President Biden and first lady Jill Biden paid their respects and met his family members late Tuesday night. Members of Congress will pay respects on Wednesday.  New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill Tuesday that repeals a state anti-loitering law, commonly called the "walking while trans" ban, that critics say police used to harass and arrest law-abiding trans people. The Kremlin is rejecting international criticism of its crackdown on protesters in support of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who was sent to prison Tuesday on an old conviction. Activists say more than 1,100 people have been arrested in the Russian capital since Tuesday morning — and that city jails are unable to accommodate all the detainees. Two FBI agents were killed and three wounded on Tuesday as they attempted to execute a search warrant at a home in Sunrise, Fla. Sir Tom Moore, the beloved British Army veteran who gained fame and affection by walking sponsored laps in his garden to raise funds for charity, died on Tuesday. He was 100. She was inside the U.S. Capitol when insurrectionists breached the building. Last week, she had to move office locations after a confrontation with freshman Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.
