Eight people were killed in a crush at the Houston music festival and dozens injured Friday: Houston police are investigating how crowd control failed. The Justice Department indicted two men in connection with a wave of ransomware attacks, including one that forced a major meat processor to shut down. Both suspects are believed to be with REvil, a group of cyber saboteurs that encrypt companies' data and demand huge ransoms in exchange to free them. The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection has issued six more subpoenas to Trump allies tied to efforts to "overturn the results of the 2020 election." Among them are former national security advisor Michael Flynn and attorney John Eastman.  A man who was shot in the arm by Kyle Rittenhouse testified in his homicide trial yesterday. Gaige Grosskreutz is the only person to survive being shot by Rittenhouse, and called the experience "one of the most traumatic" of his life. A new study from UCLA has found a link between experiencing discrimination at a young age and mental health problems later in life. The study found that: ➡️ People who faced any type of discrimination had a 26% greater risk of poor health. ➡️ Young people who experienced frequent discrimination were 25% more likely to be diagnosed with a mental illness than their peers who faced little or no discrimination. Police are one step closer to solving a 39-year-old missing person case after a car and human remains were found in a river in Massachusetts. Authorities are now determining whether foul play was involved in Judy Chartier's death. Four astronauts safely returned from the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX capsule, splashing down in the Gulf of Mexico off Pensacola, Fla.
