Over the course of 10 months, nearly 400 car crashes in the U.S. involved advanced driver-assistance technologies, federal data revealed.

Six people died and five were seriously injured in the crashes. The disclosures are part of a sweeping effort by regulators to determine the safety of advanced driving systems like Tesla's Autopilot as they become increasingly commonplace.
