Do you have a good understanding of various sensors or need a variety of them for a project? The SparkFun Sensor Kit includes a sensor for just about every job. With everything included in this kit, you'll be able to sense gestures, humidity, temperature, motion, touch, sound, altitude, acceleration and more! These are some of our favorite sensors from each category. But wait, there's more! The SparkFun Sensor Kit now includes several of our sensor boards that feature the Qwiic Connect System for rapid prototyping!
The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is the latest entry in the mainstream RPi camera line-up, and the successor to the popular Camera Module 2. Built around a 12-megapixel Sony IMX708 image sensor module, Camera Module 3 offers a few key enhancements over its predecessor. Improved low-light sensitivity makes for better photos and output in situations where there's not a lot of light. The module also features powered autofocus making it easier to get a sharp picture output. Finally the Camera Module 3 features High Dynamic Range (HDR) support expanding the range of color and contrast in the output. Also available in a Wide-Angle version!
The Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera M12 Mount is the same high-quality camera as the previous model. Many industrial users prefer to use M12-mount lenses. Previously you would have to connect them to the C-mount metalwork on the HQ Camera via an adapter. This module takes the High-Quality Camera and adds modified metalwork that supports M12-mount lenses natively.
Thinking of delving into Matter? This Talk will begin with an overview of Matter - what it is, its history, its benefits, the overall ecosystem, and its use cases. From there the talk will review the Arm Cortex-M33 based MGM240P module from Silicon Labs as well as the SparkFun Thing Plus Matter the first easily accessible Matter board that combines Matter and SparkFun's Qwiic Ecosystem for agile development and prototyping of Matter-based IoT devices. The Talk will conclude with a smart-home demonstration of Matter in action using the board.
One of the cool new sensors we learned about at CES is the BMV080 - it is the smallest particulate matter sensor available and has several applications to support monitoring indoor and outdoor air quality. Bosch Sensortec had a couple of demos at their booth to demonstrate the capabilities of the sensor.
OLIVER HOLT: The horror of relegation haunts Chris Ramsey just as it haunts every other manager who is scrambling and scrapping to try to escape it. As wars got planned and men with greyscale got skinned alive, Game of Thrones Season 7 episode two also gave us some resolution to the show's best unrequited love. Unsullied leader Grey Worm and Daenerys’ Secretary of State Missandei have been dancing around each other for seasons. First, it was just furtive eye glances and not-so-subtle conversations, then there was even some tear-stained cuddling last season. But tonight. Tonight, they got together.
