Honestly, I'll always prefer a down pillow. Sorry to the animal lovers (and allergy-sufferers) out there, but they get down ethically these days. Some of my colleagues love an adjustable memory foam pillow, and I love that for them. But, for me? From now until the end of time—or if societal collapse ever takes away consumer products—it's going to be down pillows on my bed. I've spent money on bed frame, mattress, sheet set (maybe a cooling sheet set), and a duvet cover all just to skimp on a pillow? No way. I'm buying the best pillow I can afford, and that's a down pillow. |

Deodorant is one of those grooming items that needs to pull double duty. The best deodorants serve two functions: they keep your pits from smelling bad (and in some cases sweating as much) and it also needs to smell good. We're not talking smell good enough to cover up the scent of your natural musk. The very best deodorants smell great—like great enough that you'd want to wear the fragrance on its own, even if you weren't expecting it to do anything else. We like to approach deodorant as an extension of your cologne—it should smell just as good as the fragrance you spray at the end of you grooming routine. |

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote. "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'" Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail . For centuries , humans have used fish oils, orally or topically, to treat a wide array of ailments, from aches and pains to rickets and gout. The popularity of this supplement has shifted over the years, as have its primary uses. But over the past couple of decades, the hype around fish oil has arguably reached an all-time high. According to National Institutes of Health statistics , in 2012, at least 18.8 million Americans used about $1.3 billion dollars worth of fish oil, making it the third most widely used supplement in the nation. (Sales reportedly flattened out at about that level around 2013.) Today, many use it because they believe it will broadly help their heart health , but others hold that fish oil can help with renal health, bone, and joint conditions, cognitive functions and mental wellness, and any number of other conditions. But is fish oil really as good for you as millions of Americans believe it is? Who should be taking it and when? We dove into the research and
