The world is always changing, full of peaks and valleys. Today a peak has changed as the word recently came down that Jeff Bezos Has Become The Richest Person In The World. Mr. Bezos, who owns 17% of Amazon, has surpassed Bill Gates as the richest man in the world with a net worth of $90.9 billion USD. This news comes on the heels of a surge in Amazon’s stock.

Bill Gates has held the number one spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index for over four years while Jeff Bezos started the year as the world’s fourth wealthiest person. He passed the likes of Warren Buffett and Amancio Ortega thanks to his success directly related to Amazon. Wedbush Securities Inc. analyst Michael Pachter stated: “Amazon Prime is why so much physical retail is going away. Anyone who joins Prime shops in retail stores 10% less, and that number will keep accelerating as Amazon adds more inventory.” Interesting news to say least. Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
