The people who work on the Esquire entertainment desk watch everything. Right now, as I look out my office door, I see one of them watching the latest episode of Andor. They talk about the shows and movies—argue, debate, fan out—then compile their very favorites into a handcrafted list of the best of the year. It's done with care, so you don't have to waste time searching too hard for your next favorite show. I hope you find what you're looking for in today's newsletter. —Michael Sebastian, editor-in-chief. Also featured: |

No shade to last year's stellar offerings—RIP Curb Your Enthusiasm—but 2025 is the big year, folks.
