Lifeword Monthly - May 2025

Featured Language: Hungarian

The Hungarian people are known for their resilience, shaped by a history of political upheaval and cultural preservation. Though Hungary has deep Christian roots—particularly in Roman Catholicism and Reformed traditions—modern society is increasingly secular, especially in urban areas.

To share the hope of Christ in this changing landscape, Lifeword’s European team produces a Hungarian-language show called Az élet szava (The Word of Life), available at lifeword.org/hungarian or on Facebook at facebook.com/lifewordhungarian.

Please pray for this show and the team that faithfully produces it and that the Lord would use their efforts to further His kingdom in Hungary and across Europe.

VIDEO: The Danger of Aesthetic Christianity

We all like recognition. But when it comes to our faith, Jesus had a clear warning: don’t do good just to be seen. In this episode of Another Day Another Way, Jose, Marlon, and Fernanda dive into Matthew 6:1–4 and talk honestly about the pressure to make your walk with God look “aesthetic” online. Whether it’s posting your quiet time setup or giving publicly to get praise, we’re asking the real questions: 📱 Is it for God—or just for the feed?🤳 Can you share your faith without performing it?🧠 Why do we crave external validation—even in church stuff? We’re not here to judge—just to reflect, laugh a little, and challenge ourselves (and you) to keep our hearts in check. 🎧 New episodes every Friday at 10AM📲 Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube: @ADAWPodcast
