| July 5, 2025 Welcome to Cosmo's shopping newsletter. I'm Meg Uy, a shopping editor here at Cosmo, and this is Let's Talk Shop—aka my tiny corner of the internet, where I share my favorite finds and current obsessions. And I can't lie, chat. Tuesday's upcoming Amazon Prime Day event has completely taken over my everyday thoughts. Sure, it's legit my job to obsess over this shopping holiday and hunt down the best sales, but as a die-hard shopper even in my own free time, I truly look forward to the massive markdowns it brings. It's the perfect time to stock up on tech, skincare, TikTok-viral gems, and more—all for way less. I'm just saying, I can't believe APD hasn't even happened yet, and we're seeing prices this wild already. I don't know about you, but my cart's already full! . Got a trend you need broken down? A must-have item you're hunting for? Hit me up at meg.uy@hearst.com! |

So let's be weak together. <3 |

Of all the major shopping events, nothing gets me quite as giddy as Prime Day. And I say that as someone who's spent the last four years deep in the trenches for this moment specifically—aka hours upon hours staring at a computer screen, sifting through thousands of deals to find the ones that are actually worth your time. But the best part? This year, I've got access to early Prime Day deals, and I'm sharing them with you before the big rush. Four (!!) full days of shopping are ahead—which is a first-ever, mind you—but why wait when you can get a head start now and snag the good stuff ahead of time? So let's dive in because there's not a minute to waste when the discounts are this top-tier. And trust me, I would never stand between you and your Prime Day budget-shopping journey. Below, you'll find my top early picks across fashion, beauty, tech, and home, all ready to shop before the main event even begins on Tuesday, July 8. |

Imagine having a laugh so infectious, even animals join in on the fun. Taken at what looks to be a kind of farming expo, this interviewee's laugh is so contagious, it managed to get the chickens going. Per Australia's Nine.com.au , the segment is from RTV Noord's Expeditie Grunnen. Mid-interview, the pair begin to laugh and everything just escalates from there. Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote. "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'" Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
