On my days off… I tend to wake up without an alarm, go to the gym or for a long run, have a sauna and cold plunge, cook myself breakfast and maybe do a bit of reading.
My go-to breakfast at the weekend is… eggs, avocado and toast with a sprinkle of chilli flakes.
The biggest wellness lesson I've learned is… that consistency matters more than intensity. It's easy to get caught up in short bursts of motivation, strict diets or gruelling workout plans, but sustainable progress comes from small, steady habits that you can maintain. That includes things like moving your body daily in ways you enjoy (not just ways you think you 'should'); hydrating appropriately daily; eating mostly whole, nourishing foods while still allowing for flexibility; and prioritising sleep and recovery just as much as training.
I wish more women knew that… strength training won't make you bulky; it will make you powerful, capable and more confident in your own body. There's still a lot of outdated messaging that tells women to focus mainly on being 'smaller' – burning calories, toning or chasing a specific body size. But lifting weights and building strength support so much more.
I love to relax and recharge by… going for a sauna session and cold plunge. I love sitting in the sauna to loosen up and de-stress – it feels amazing for recovery and just clears my head. Then I'll hit the cold plunge, which is a total shock at first but leaves me feeling super refreshed and focused. After that, I like to just chill out and read for a bit – nothing serious, just something that helps me slow down. That mix of heat, cold and quiet time always leaves me feeling reset.
