QUANTUM: A NEW VERSION FOR THE BOOKCASE DESIGNED BY PIERO LISSONI

The QUANTUM bookcase is enriched by a new dazzling version: the glass ‘boxes’ composing it and offset overlapping are now also available in mirrored glass.
Open compartments and closed compartments with doors can be freely combined to create custom configurations.
Accessible from both sides, Quantum is a precious object, perfect to be placed as a room divider in the centre of any interior space.

ADA 2025: THE ‘SUSTAINABILITY AWARD’ GOES TO THE OPALIA PROJECT

The OPALIA project designed by Patricia Urquiola has won the ‘Sustainability Award’ at the ADA Archiproducts Design Awards 2025.
This award recognizes companies standing out for sustainable design and circular economy, focusing on recyclable materials and optimizing product life cycles.
The OPALIA tables, coffee tables, consoles and vases are made from regenerated glass, transcending traditional aesthetic boundaries and transforming into a living and surprising material.
As Patricia Urquiola says: ‘Opalia is a collection in which the flaw in the glass becomes beauty’.

DOORS AND PARTITIONS: THE TITANIUM FRAGMENT MIRROR FINISH

A new finish for the doors and panels of the interior partitions ALADIN and SHERAZADE: the Titanium Fragment Mirror creates a refined game of reflections and refractions, magically and unexpectedly transforming the perception of space.


Discover it in the video applied to ‘Aladin Swing Plain’, the single- or double-glazed flush swing door, made to measure and also available with a transom window.

BOW, OPALIA AND TRANSFORMER: CRYSTAL GLASS AND DESIGN IDEAS FOR CHRISTMAS

BOW: cylindrical vases in transparent borosilicate crystal characterized by an inclined posture. Each size corresponds to a different inclination, to create unique and original compositions. Design Piero Lissoni

Based on an idea by Patricia Urquiola, the OPALIA vases are made of recycled and melted glass, with undulating surfaces rich in bubbles. A “lunar” appearance, in which the imperfection of the glass becomes a virtue.

TRANSFORMER: a manual deformation process, different each time, transforms a standard-shaped container into a unique and unrepeatable design vase. Design Piero Lissoni

Jolly guy's laugh is so contagious that even chickens had to join in

Imagine having a laugh so infectious, even animals join in on the fun.  Taken at what looks to be a kind of farming expo, this interviewee's laugh is so contagious, it managed to get the chickens going. Per Australia's Nine.com.au , the segment is from RTV Noord's Expeditie Grunnen. Mid-interview, the pair begin to laugh and everything just escalates from there. Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
