Going to the gym and looking (and feeling) like a bum is the last thing you need when you're trying to make working out a priority. It might sound silly, but something as simple as wearing the right outfit for the right class really does make all the difference. So to make sure you start your 2026 resolutions off right, we rounded up the brands that make the best workout clothes. You'll still have to get yourself to the gym, though.

So you made it to the gym. Good. That's half the battle to get in shape. As long as you show up and do something consistently, you'll chip away at that New Year's resolution. The remaining part of this is some combination of actually working out while you're there (keep the phone in your bag), diet, and, because this is Esquire, looking the part. A raggedy cotton tee, old gym sweats, and Chuck Taylors—that's a look, but it's tough to pull off.
