Fluidity, Identity and Film Photography
Today we are celebrating femininity within the Lomography Community. Dutch visual artist and photographer Sanne Wijdenes explores themes related to gender identity in her multiple exposure photographs. Her empowering frames transcend the established narrative and encourage us to challenge and re-think stereotypes. Grab your camera and explore whatever femininity means to you, in between and outside of the frames.

Fluidity, Identity and Film Photography
Becoming is an indefinite process. It does not require a specific start, nor the certainty of endings. It is the ongoing process of living and growth, a continuation of our historical present. A shedding of the skin, an unleashing of the claws.

Women's Rights in Men's Clothing
Female photographers Marie Høeg and Bolette Berg were lifelong lovers who were dedicated to self-expression and fighting for the women's suffrage movement in Norway in the 1900s. Marie and Bolette pushed against the conventional and their dynamic identities are expressed beautifully in photographs found in the 1980s. What does it mean for you to challenge the norm in your photography? We can't wait to see. Get inspired by their story and read about it in the magazine.
