Antisemitism is rising, and National Review isn't sitting still.
Tomorrow, we are partnering with the Republican Jewish Coalition to hold an important symposium in the nation's capital, during which public officials and leading conservative thinkers will discuss this urgent issue. We invite you to join us on our livestream starting at 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday, March 10.
Speakers at this significant event will include Senators Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and Jim Banks; Leo Terrell of the DOJ; Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, chair of President Trump's Religious Liberty Commission; Rabbi Meir Solevichik; and more. Additionally, I will be there along with several of my NR colleagues.
We are hosting this during the year in which we are celebrating a very important milestone for the United States. Since its founding 250 years ago, America has served as a welcoming place for the Jewish people, and in turn Jewish Americans have played an indispensable role in shaping and strengthening the country we cherish. The rise in antisemitism we are seeing, in the form of physical violence and conspiratorial rhetoric portraying Jews as a nefarious influence, threatens to undermine the moral foundations of our society.
At previous points when antisemitism was rearing its ugly head, the conservative movement drew a clear line: antisemitism is incompatible with our principles. A movement that puts America first must also defend the constitutional order that made Jewish flourishing possible and uphold strong alliances—especially the enduring partnership between the United States and Israel.
Together, we will examine the historical roots of antisemitism, the parallels we see in our own time, the vital contributions of Jewish Americans to our national story, and how conservatives can once again draw a bright moral boundary.
Once again, the livestream begins at 9:00 a.m. ET. You can watch by clicking this link.
Please join us for what promises to be an important discussion at a critical moment for our movement.
