Not only do you need to decide the best Part D drug plan for your needs, but you also have to figure out the cheapest way to fill your prescription.

Sometimes you get the best deal bypassing your insurance and paying cash. Most of the time, your Part D plan will give you the best price. Unfortunately, you need to do the math on a prescription- by-prescription basis to determine the most cost-effective option.
