Two massive changes coming

3.5% fee increase on fulfillment and credit card points slashed

Breaking News: Credit Cards No Longer Work for Amazon Ads | Here's Why

ALERT! Credit Cards are being banned from Amazon Seller accounts April 15th!

Here's what you need to know:

  • This is an obvious cash grab from Amazon

  • Credit card companies charge 2-3%

  • Amazon made $69 billion dollars on PPC in 2025

  • That's up 22% from 2024

If 30% of ad spend was paid via card at ~2.5% fee:

Card volume ≈ 0.30 × 68.6B ≈ $20.6B;

fees ≈ 0.025 × 20.6B ≈ $0.5B in card fees

That's 500-million dollars a year Amazon just made with this change

And it's happening in 13 days with SHORT notice

But don't worry… They're giving everyone $2,500 in promotional ad credits for the transition (maybe)

I'm sure with PPC inflation that will just raise your bids 10% this Spring
